Don’t you fucking do this, Tats…
This Amber chick is a girl Criminy once went out with. It was an arc called “Call Me”. It started on August 19, 2002 and ended on September 16, 2002 (believe it or not, no filler interrupted it; we got a legit mini arc back in the old days of Sinfest). Here’s some highlights…

Amber was really only interested in a one-off bang. She only became enticed when Criminy, chaste as he is, rejected her proposition for sex. This was presented as just a gag. Amber was a slut, which wasn’t portrayed as a flaw mind you, and Criminy was too sheltered to realize he turned down her advances.
Then this got retconned into something sad…

Blue, who is in love with Fuchsia (who Criminy is dating), wanted to see if Criminy had flaws she could hold against him. Being the only guy in Sinfest who is just as sweet as he was when he debuted, this proved difficult. Until she realized he broke Amber’s heart. Thing is…this was just a stupid attempt to remind you that just because Criminy is sweet, considerate, polite, and overall good-natured to everyone he meets…he is still a man and hurts women with his existence.
The problem with this is that Criminy never really promised to make things official with Amber. She herself said she wanted nothing serious. She never told Criminy she changed her mind, so why would he automatically know to call her? Also, this was pre-character development. Criminy was still a shut-in. He had social anxieties. Obviously he would be too neurotic to arrange a date with her (she made the first move and everything). He was not being malicious, just oblivious. His meeting and later hook up with Fuchsia worked wonders for him, but this was waaaay before that.
Tats is probably trying to take Criminy down a peg, because it probably really got to him that Criminy and Fuchsia’s hetero relationship is undermining the Sisterhood’s lesbians only policy. Tats, if you’re planning to stomp on the Criminy/Fuchsia pairing, please keep one thing in mind…Criminy/Fuchsia is a very popular pairing. The arc in which they hooked up was one of the most popular ones. They actually work great together. Their story was very sweet and enjoyable. If you try to split them up over petty feminazi bullshit, even your most patient fans are very likely to throw in the towel.
